Squarespace web design for nutritional therapists: a case study

Running a nutritional therapy practice means your website has to do more than look nice - it needs to build trust fast, explain what you actually do, and make booking a consultation effortless. I design Squarespace websites for nutritional therapists who want a site that reflects their expertise and converts curious visitors into booked clients.

The problem with most nutritional therapist websites

Most template-based sites fall into one of two traps: too clinical and cold, or too vague to explain what you actually do and how you can help the visitor. If someone can't tell within ten seconds what you can help them with - gut health, hormone balance, weight management - they'll leave. I build sites that lead with your USP, not generic wellness language.

What's included in your nutritional therapist website

  • A homepage that states your specialism and ideal client up front

  • Service pages structured around your actual offerings (1:1 consultations, programmes, packages)

  • Booking integration (Calendly or Squarespace Scheduling) built into your site, not bolted on

  • Space for client intake information and clear next steps

  • Mobile-first design - most nutrition clients research and book from their phone

  • Search-optimised copy so you're found by people actively looking for a nutritional therapist with your. expertise

Kirsty - a nutritional therapist website that ranks #2 in Google and gets cited in AI search

Kirsty, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, came to me a few months before qualifying as a nutritional therapist. She wanted a friendly, fresh and contemporary website for her new business - something that felt personal rather than clinical. Her finished site:

  • Ranks #2 in Google for "nutritional therapist Stevenage" and "dietitian near me".

  • Is cited in AI search results for local search and specialism queries, including post-menopause and hormone nutrition.

We used personal branding photography throughout to create an emotional connection and build trust with visitors from the first click.. A full branding package wasn't in budget, and wasn't necessary, so I designed a simple wordmark logo instead, paired with a warm orange and soft grey palette that complements her photography.

Kirsty's site shows what's possible for a practitioner launching a new business on a realistic budget: a site that looks considered, ranks locally, and gets picked up by AI search for the things she actually wants to be known for.
